Faith & Values...

Fehrman Knives is a family business. We feel that our purpose is to honor God in all that we do. We believe that we honor Him by producing good work, being honest, and generally being a business that you respect and want to work with again. What makes us strive for these goals so diligently is our love and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Since Jesus has made such a difference in our lives we would like to share with you how we know that we have eternal life with Him and how you can know to.

If God were to ask you, "Why Should I Let You Into My Heaven"? what would you say? If you are uncertain or hesitate to answer that question then we have the Best News that you could ever hear! The few minutes it will take you to read the following paragraphs may be the most important time you will ever spend!

Did you know that the Bible tells us how we can Know For Sure that you have eternal life and will go to be with God in heaven? "These things I have written to you . . . that you may KNOW that you have eternal life." (I John 5:13)

HAS ANYONE EVER TAKEN A BIBLE AND SHOWN YOU HOW YOU CAN KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE AND ARE GOING TO HEAVEN???

The Bible contains both BAD NEWS (about mankind) and GOOD NEWS (about God and His plan for our salvation). . .

Mankind is Sinful

As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:10,23)

The Penalty for Sin is Death

For the wages of sin is death, . . . (Romans 6:23)

Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty of our sins and purchase a place for us in Heaven which he offers as a free gift

. . . but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

You can be saved through Faith in Jesus Christ

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved... For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9,13)

When we Trust in Jesus alone for our salvation then we have Peace with God, Fellowship (Relationship) with Him, we become His Children

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, (Romans 5:1)

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, (Romans 8:16)

Remember, Man cannot save himself, our hope is in Jesus, His gift, His Grace, NOT because of our “good” works

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that NOT of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, (Titus 3:5)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (I John 4:10)

Remember, Jesus is the ONLY way

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

For there is ONE God and ONE Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5)

Understand that Jesus calls us to live a DIFFERENT kind of life, and to COUNT THE COST of living for Jesus. (Luke 14:25-31)

WHAT YOU MUST DO (Pray to God in your own words)

ADMIT you are a sinner, and that only the Lord Jesus Christ can save you. (Romans 3:10)

REPENT, be willing to turn away from sin and submit to God. (Luke 13:5)

TRUST Christ as God and personal Savior. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that He could have a personal relationship with each one of us (Romans 10:9-10)

SUBMIT to Christ as Lord and Master over our life, realizing that because of Christ’s great love, He will guide our lives better than we are able to do (Philippians 2:10-11, Romans 12:1-2)

ASK God to save you, to forgive you, to change your life. (Romans 10:13)

If you have truly put your TRUST in Christ ALONE for your salvation; then you can KNOW for sure that you have Eternal Life

And this is the testimony: that God has given us ETERNAL LIFE, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (I John 5:11-13)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. (John 6:47)

IF You Really Made Jesus Your Lord Then Act Like It!

Read your Bible every day to get to Know Jesus better. Start in the Gospel of "Mark" or "John", then move on to "James" or "Romans". (2 Tim. 3:15-17)

Talk to God in prayer every day. (Jam. 5:16; 1 Ths. 5:16-18; Mat. 6:7-13)

Worship, Fellowship, and Serve in a church where Christ is Honored and the Bible is taught as the final authority. (Hebrews 10:25)

Tell others about Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 5:20; 1 Pet. 3:15)

Live a Holy Life (Rom. 12:1-2; Phi. 2:12-15; Col 3:12)
