Customer Comments...Below are comments from our customers and people who have handled and used our blades:
Ron Hood of Hoods Woods:
These blades have great balance, terrific edge retention, wonderful control and a handle that is comfortable after long hours of hard use. You'll see this thing digging holes, chopping bone and a ton more in the Desert Survival video. When I was finished working, the surface of the steel didn't even show wear. Amazing... In fact the steel outperformed even the so called "wonder steels" that we have worked with in the past.
These blades are more than robust. They held an edge better than any blade tested so far... period. The handle is ergonomic and that means comfortable. It fits my hand so well I had no problem using it for hours at a time. The fit and finish are airtight and the attention to detail on the blades is excellent

Andy Prisco of American Tomahawk Company:
This "Last Chance" knife is among the "finest" knives I have ever handled. It screams quality, quality, quality...and the finish job you did is exquisite. It has instantly become one of my most cherished knives....
Regarding our Cold Fury, he said... quite simply, the most well executed, well made, precisely built, semi-custom tactical knife I have ever held. Eric's quality is simply unmatched in the industry, in my assessment. He clearly approaches knife making with an eye for precise execution, killer performance, and tremendous value for the customer

My initial impressions... WOW! Fit and finish are some of the best I've seen... I've spent some big money on a couple knives that don't even come close. Very comfortable in a variety of grips. Good balance ... balance point is just behind the guard. Very fast point. Beautiful grind lines. One of the sharpest 'out of the box' blades I've received. This is my first blade from Fehrman ... and now I HAVE to get a couple more!
Note from Eric Fehrman: Mike is referring to our "Cold Fury" tactical knife.

Just wanted to let ya know. First impressions overall are great. I even sliced tomatoes with this big thick blade no problem (in the kitchen)!
The 7.5" was an awesome performer in the woods -- shelter building, digging, worked well on hard woods (split oak with it for firewood) pounded stakes in with it. Edge held superbly, no scratches on the blade (how did you pull THAT off???!) I also drove the knife into a tree using a baton and jumped up on it quickly, so I could shoot tactically from a Y in the trunk. Imitating an emergency shooting platform. I then took a log and just bashed it sideways out of the tree to remove it quickly -- no damage to the knife whatsoever. Pretty wild!
Handles are outstanding -- with and without gloves on! Very comfortable -- no fatigue. The rubber liners really do their job
The 5.5" has really grabbed me -- I haven't found any smaller blades that I feel will put up with heavy abuse like the big boys, yet perform the small tasks, too. It also rides on my hip so nicely I forget its there. Overall, awesome stuff Eric!

I got the "Final Judgment" for Christmas and all I could say is WOW! it was plenty sharp and the best built knife I have,I must say that the fit and finish are 10 times better then the xxxxx knives I own... It cuts and chops like a dream, certainly a quality blade... I cut a tulip poplar down here in my yard and then chopped it into smaller logs and split some of those using the batoning technique. I also limed the whole tree using just the FJ. I cleaned out a 500 pound pig to roast over a fire pit, and then cleaned out a coyote and used the Final Judgment to chop the legs off, with no loss of edge. This is one great knife thanks!

The Fehrman's handle fits my hands perfectly. I've really come to like this knife a lot.... For me, it provides an excellent grip and control. All of the corners and edges have been beveled and lightly blended, so there are no sharp edges or pokey points to dig into your hands... the Fehrman is very comfortable to use, even for long periods.
...having used the Final Judgment for everything from chopping through six-inch logs to slicing see-through-thin slices of summer sausage...
